Choose 3 paintings
For each work (3) complete the following:
Step 1: In class revise vocabulary and grammar to speak about past Holidays and travels
Step 2: Ask your students to collect 4/5 picture of a past journey
Step 3: Ask your students to write/type a travelogue starting from the pictures they have chosen.
You can use online tools such as Padlet or ask your students to work with pen and paper.
Create a comic strip explaining the basic plot of the book. Be sure to use 6-8 panels to summarize the story including the elements of fiction
Guide for a day!
Step 1: Revise in class past tenses and vocabulary to speak about the history of your city and/or some monuments
Step 2: Divide the class into pairs or small groups and ask them to choose 1 monument and 1 restaurant/pub/bar of your city
Step 3: Ask your students to record a video. They will be guides for a day! The video must include description and history of the monument; highlights of the area chosen; review of the restaurant/pub/bar chosen.
Step 4: Watch the videos in class and have fun! (This can be used for an oral mark if your students speak in front of the camera without reading)
Step 1: Divide the class into four groups.
Step 2: Give each group a specific aspect of the topic you’ve chosen for the debate (see link below) and ask them to brainstorm
Step 3: Three students per group prepare a speech to support their ideas.

Step 4: Start your debate. You can find a moderator among the students of your class.
